The brill opened in Kings Cross in March 2009 offering quality, British food - honestly priced. Whilst food outlets continued to sprout up across London we wanted to serve something a bit different - a contemporary take on traditional, quality British food and drink in a friendly, attentive atmosphere.
Our chefs prepare every meal individually from ingredients that are sourced locally for freshness and quality. We don’t use any artificial flavourings, additives or preservatives.
Our reputation is growing with a growing base of loyal customers and glowing reviews. Whether you want to dine in, eat out or have a private party we will deliver a memorable meal with great service.
The name brill derives from Roman times when soldiers would meet to feast and drink after a hard day of plundering. The restaurant sits on the site of such a place known to exist in Roman times.
